The position will involve gaining a full understanding and all round experience of all aspects involved with a full service, dynamic market research agency based in our Barnstaple office serving multi national and global blue chip clients.
Aspects of the role involve developing skills around social media marketing, new business skills such as developing new client contacts and follow up of contacts that come through website enquiries. There will also be an element of telephone calling potential new clients (dependent upon perceived capability of individual – full training will be given on this). Meet the team.
The role will also involve learning and developing skills in project management, taking a client project from start to finish. This would include acquiring skills around the development of research (questionnaire development, scripting of online questionnaires), conducting certain aspects of research (if felt appropriate and dependent upon candidate), data analysis using specialist software, and MS Excel, report writing using MS Word and Powerpoint, and presentation writing. Despite the all round experience that his position will provide, we would want the candidate to focus on key aspects such as data analysis, scripting of questionnaires, social media marketing and possibly new business development.
Mon-Fri 9.00am – 5.15pm (excluding Wednesdays in term time for college day)
For the right candidate there may be opportunity at the end of the Apprenticeship to become a full time employee. Availability of position will depend upon business environment and business need at the time and the match of the candidate to that need.
