UCB Pharma required a market research study that investigated usage and perceptions of patient support programmes in different EU markets and to explore what an ideal solution might look like.
A large-scale international research patient study was conducted by Turquoise across the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain with sufferers of a number of conditions. A number of these conditions were extremely niche and challenging requiring our experience on which international panels to access for optimum results.
In addition to the online patient research, an online survey was also conducted with a number of key HCP audiences in both Germany and the UK.
The results have highlighted how patients currently experience these patient support programmes and how UCB would need to refine and supplement their offering across each market. The outputs of this study are now being implemented across each market.
