UCB Pharma, a successful, ethical pharmaceutical company commissioned us to understand the usage and awareness of the OTC allergy treatment – Zirtek. UCB wanted to find out more about the Zirtek market in the Republic of Ireland, so we designed a study which would reveal who is buying the brand, how often, and for whom.
We deployed an online awareness survey which targeted 400 allergy sufferers in the area and designed it so that they could complete the study in their own time.
UCB benefited from our access to online research panels all over the world where we can tap into niche markets and reach specific audiences swiftly and with ease.
Through the course of the study, we were interested to discover that residual product awareness of Zirktek is still high and that customers use and buy the product at a rate which continues to benefit the brand. The findings were critical in providing a platform for UCB to further develop the Zirtek brand within the Republic of Ireland.
