In obtaining your consent to participate in a research study, we will not mislead you about the nature or objectives of the research, nor how the findings will be used. We will not try to sell you anything or promote any products/brands. Your responses, and any associated data, will remain confidential unless you explicitly consent to being identified.
If you have been invited to participate in one of our research projects, in most cases, it will be because of one or more the following:
You purchased a product, received a service, or visited one of the organisations for whom we work.
You have given permission for an organisation to provide your details to a third party for research purposes.
You have taken part in a previous study by Turquoise and have given your permission to be contacted in the future for further research.
You are part of a research panel.
If you do not believe that you have given permission, and/or wish to be removed from the database, please contact us and we will remove you from the contact list and inform the relevant organisation who supplied your details of your request.
We would never knowingly invite children under the age of 16 to participate in a research study without ensuring we have the appropriate consent from a responsible adult.
Before conducting any research with us, you will be made aware of the objectives and purposes of the study. Any information collected will be used solely for these purposes.
The information we collect can contain your personal opinions as well as personal data such as your name, address, gender, age, email address, telephone number etc. For research with businesses, we may collect business contact information, such as company name, job title, department. Additionally, for our online surveys we may capture IP addresses, what browser you are using, your device details and other basic metrics through our software provider.
