Charibot, developed by Japeto.ai, is a chatbot building tool that allows charities to create AI chatbots without any code. Features include natural language interpretation and safeguarding tools so that the most vulnerable visitors can get connected to a person when they need to. Turquoise was approached to provide a market assessment of the desirability of Charibot, in order to inform development of the product.

The agreed approach was to conduct qualitative depth interviews with representatives of small to medium-sized charities.
We discovered that charity leaders are generally interested in a chatbot to speed up their response times and to offer quick answers/solutions. Key benefits included reducing the number of emails and calls, and freeing up time for valuable members of staff.
We provided Japeto with a ranking of all key features and benefits of the software and recommendations on how to get the software adopted across the organisation. We also established the areas in which charities lack confidence when it comes to employing new tech, and how these issues might be broached.
